  28. Well I'm back again with another goodie, this time on the issue of: ROLM CBX.
  29. From the beginning let me say that THIS FILE IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS!. Hmmmm?
  30. That's not like me?  Usually all my files are written expressly for
  31. beginner's? Well I had to break with tradition this time, for one simple
  32. reason...I know absolutley nothing about ROLM CBXs. 
  33.  
  34. See, here's the deal: I-was-on-this-board-and-the-issue-of-ROLM-PhoneMail-
  35. and-ROLM-CBXs-came-up-and-they-sounded-pretty-neat-and-all (this is all
  36. supposed to be read ala Valley Girl) and-so-I-decided-to-find-out-more-abou
  37. them-andso....  Any way, I began to gather up some info on ROLMs and I
  38. decided to make a little collage of this gathered information.

  40. The information provided here has been attained through various CUD methods,
  41. including trashing, h/p'in, FAX interception, IRC, and, in one case, I've
  42. borrowed a 1k'er on the subject from Brownstone.  Anyway, all information
  43. here is provided exactly as it was received.  Hardcopy documents were either
  44. retyped, or OCRd, and captured text was pasted in with lousy grammar and all.

  116. # N #  and according to /<ludge this trick only works on older ROLM CBX
  117. # O #  systems (9000 series I believe he said). In any event, if you find an 
  118. # T #  older ROLM CBX, this may or may not work, give it a try. Oh, and don't
  119. # E #  mind the fact that the password algorithm here doesn't at all go with
  120. # S #  the ROLM login header (whatadumbass).  You can yell at this guy if you
  121. #####  want, but not a Paragon Systems, cuz its defunct.

  405. Reva, there is confusion in the field regarding the 9006 CCMS Training
  406. Strategy, especially any CCMS/ACD Supervisor training that is
  407. delivered by the branch at the time of installation.  Although Charles
  408. Herel, the ACD Product Manager, will be sending out a revised ACD Product
  409. Note in the next couple of weeks, which will more clearly define this
  410. training strategy, I think it would help if you could send the following
  411. information to each of the Branch Education Strategy liaisons and coordinators.

  413. The ACD/CCMS product price includes the following customer training to be
  414. delivered shortly after cutover:
  415.  
  416.     *    A 2-hour train-the trainer for a limited number of the customer's ACD
  417.         agents (as defined in ROLM's 9751 CBX Installation Exhibit~, and
  418.  
  419.         NOTE: Most customers don't require ROLM to provide ACD agent train-
  420.               the-trainer training because they prefer ROLM to train their
  421.               ACD agents at the time of installation.  It is important to note,
  422.               however, that contractually, we owe the customer this training.
  423.  
  424.     *    8 hours of ACD supervisor training for a limited number of supervisors.
  425.  
  426.         - ACD supervisor training is not intended to cover all aspects of
  427.             ACD, but to provide basic knowledge of the ACD/CCMS system for up
  428.          to (3) three supervisors.  Additional supervisor training is
  429.             separately purchasable.

  431.         - NOTE:  Statistical interpretation is NOT INCLUDED in the supervisor
  432.                  training module that is provided to customers at the branch
  433.                  level.
